This is a photo of one of my newly finished original paintings showing a dress from 1900. I've named the model Clarice. This is done on an 8x24 portrait grade gallery wrap canvas. Her dress is light blue satin and has a luminous glow that portrays satin. I am not selling the originals yet as I'll be doing a gallery showing when more are finished. I currently have the first decade done of the 1900 Years of Fashion Series. Although, prints are now available at Pepin Fine Art and Fashion.

100 Years of Fashion

I'm busy releasing my first decade of 100 Years of Fashion. This new series combines my two passions. . . vintage clothing/fashion and painting. Since I've finished the first 10 canvases (which I will show on this blog soon), I'm soliciting your opinion on the best dress for 1910. Whichever dress gets the most votes I'll paint for the 1910 dress.

Here are the dresses you can vote on:
Dress A (dress on the left in the first picture) by Boue Souers:

Dress B by Charles Worth:

Dress C by F. Fox:

Dress D by Farquharson and Wheelock:

Dress E by Foller (front and back):

Dress F by J.L. Conley (front and back):

Dress G by Jean Phillipe Worth:

Dress H by J. G. Chapman (front and back):
